NFPA (NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION)
		It is a non-profit international organization founded in 1896. Its purpose is to minimize worldwide life threatening fires and other dangers by forming codes and standards, by making research and by giving training. NFPA has formed more than 300 codes and standards planning to minimize the effects of fire and other risks. It has more than 70.000 members.
VDS
		It is one of the leading independent testing organizations of  Germany in protection from fire and fire safety domains. VdS is a associate of German Insurance Association. It carries on operations like tracking of fire fighting systems by experts approved by the government, private inspection, testing, certifying and approval of products in their own laboratory (components, devices and systems) and possesses 100 year of experience in fire fighting domain.
TSE
		It is founded in 1960 under Ministery of Industry and Commerce in order to determine the materials, goods and method and service standards. In case the intitute investigates and accepts the standards prepared internally or externally, it approves as Turkish standard.
LPCB (LOSS PREVENTION CERTIFICATION BOARD)
		It is a leading approval organization in safety and protection from fire domains. LPCB approval is paid attention by governments and regulatory authorities especially Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe. LPCB process consists of evaluations and tests determining whether the quality standards identified by a group of experts consisting of insurers, designers, manufacturers, installers, engineers and scientists are met or not. Product approvals are performed in worldwide famous laboratories. The conformity of the product to the approved criteria is realized by regularly inspecting this approval. After deciding that a product meets the required standards, a certificate is given and the name of the institute is added to the Red Book which is at service of users worldwide.
UL
		Underwriters Laboratories Inc., is a USA origin independent product approval institute focusing mainly on safety. It develops standards and test procedures for the products, materials, components, assemblies, tools and equipments. UL gives UL approvals to the products compatible to the safety standards mainly developed by itself. It is testing the products and form safety standards for over 100 years. UL examines in a year more than 19.000 types of products, hardwares, materials and systems. Every year, 72.000 producers produce 21 billion of products with UL logo. The UL company familiy and service provider network consisting of 62 laboratories, test and approval facility worldwide is giving service to its customer located in 99 countries.
CEN
		It is an essential organization to make the standards compatible in European Union level. CEN, whose work area is broader than the other two institutions' (CENELEC and ETSI) one, is performing some tasks by forming compatible European Union standards in every sector about removing the technical obstacles arisen from the differences of national standards and which are negatively affecting the mechanism of the Single Market. CEN's 31 national members are co-working to form European standards. CEN network, comprising more than 60.000 technical experts and customers, reaches 480 million people.
