It is a leading approval organization in safety and protection from fire domains. LPCB approval is paid attention by governments and regulatory authorities especially Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe. LPCB process consists of evaluations and tests determining whether the quality standards identified by a group of experts consisting of insurers, designers, manufacturers, installers, engineers and scientists are met or not. Product approvals are performed in worldwide famous laboratories. The conformity of the product to the approved criteria is realized by regularly inspecting this approval. After deciding that a product meets the required standards, a certificate is given and the name of the institute is added to the Red Book which is at service of users worldwide.

Underwriters Laboratories Inc., is a USA origin independent product approval institute focusing mainly on safety. It develops standards and test procedures for the products, materials, components, assemblies, tools and equipments. UL gives UL approvals to the products compatible to the safety standards mainly developed by itself. It is testing the products and form safety standards for over 100 years. UL examines in a year more than 19.000 types of products, hardwares, materials and systems. Every year, 72.000 producers produce 21 billion of products with UL logo. The UL company familiy and service provider network consisting of 62 laboratories, test and approval facility worldwide is giving service to its customer located in 99 countries.
