It is used in the accurate calculation of the air flow speed in ducts and flues (in laminar flows).

The forward reverse pitot probe is used:

• In the measurement and balancing of the secondary air flow going to the windbox and burners
• In the measurement of the primary air going in each grinding
• In the flow calibration of the measurement devices like venturi and flow nozzles
• In the testing of the speed of the FD and ID fans (in no turbulent environments)

It is manufactured by the filled stainless material from 6" to 14".
