The measurement of the volatile ash carbon ratio can be performed by taking volatile ash samples from the flue gas. They are two types: In-Situ and isokinetic. In-Situ type requires one person for easy sampling in place whereas isokinetic type requires sometimes more than one person for sampling for complex tests.
